Welcome to Circle of Living Hope's comprehensive training program designed to equip foster caregivers with essential knowledge and skills. This structured curriculum ensures that all caregivers meet best practices in trauma-informed care, behavior intervention, and child safety. The training is divided into engaging modules, each carefully crafted to address real-life challenges that caregivers face.

  • 🔹 Casebook Training: Access, Medication, and Documentation

🧠 Module 2: Trauma Awareness & Infant Care (5 Hours)

  • 📋 ACES Test & Self-Study
  • 👶 Infant Training: Shaken Baby Syndrome, SIDS, Safe Sleeping Practices



⚠️ Module 3: Emergency Behavior Intervention - Part 1 (4 Hours)

  • 🧩 Understanding Child Behavior Patterns
  • ADD/ADHD & Disruptive Behavior Strategies
  • 🚦 De-escalation & Preventing Aggression



🔥 Module 4: Emergency Behavior Intervention - Part 2 (4 Hours)

🤲 Module 8: Prevention of Aggression & Physical Holds - Part 2 (4 Hours)

🚗 Module 10: Transportation & Cultural Competency (5 Hours)

📚 Pre-Service & Annual Online Trainings

  • 📢 Mandatory Reporting & Supporting Youth (1 Hour)

  • 💊 DFPS Psychotropic Medication Training (2 Hours)
  • 📜 DFPS Medical Consent Training (2.5 Hours)
  • 🏡 DFPS Normalcy Training (2 Hours)
  • 🏃 DFPS Runaway Prevention (2.5 Hours)
  • 🚨 Preventing & Recognizing Sexual Abuse (1.5 Hours)

Additional Training: 🩺 CPR/First Aid (2 Hours, not counted towards total training hours)
